if humans are priceless and our time on earth is finite, paycheques should be priceless too. but in practice, your hourly wage is basically what someone judged your time to be worth.

so if you get $15 per hour and you live for 80 years, you're worth about 10,5 million dollars. 👍

i text a lot of nonsense to people. stuff i regret later. it's probably best, if you have to deal with me, to pay more attention to what i say in person or on the phone

the other day i told someone i don't read books cover to cover and he said "you don't know very much then" and i didn't know what to respond

but eventually i recovered, with the help of someone else who was present, and threw this quote back at him

i should consider one of those things where you go work on some farm in Europe for the summer and get free food and lodging, but maybe not because i now have commitments. i just wish they made me good money...

at the maker space the other day a gorgeous woman dropped some snus in the trash and said "i'm a nasty person" and i was inclined to strongly disagree with that - "no, you're only human"

somebody told me "don't put the picture where you smoke on the dating site" - thing is, if she smokes a bit i'm okay with that - it would be hypocritical of me to demand that she lacks vices - i've got a good number of those myself - i'm all for rock and roll
